Tuition: $145 (includes $15 model fee)

Instructor: Robyn Smith

Location: online via Zoom

Join us on zoom for this figure drawing class for beginner to intermediate students. Start with a basic introduction to human anatomy for drawing, then work from a live model and your own sketches and photographs of the figure, using charcoal, pencil and soft-pastels. We will discuss lighting and value, how to create a compelling composition, gesture, form, and expressive line. Robyn Smith has an MA in painting from University of Iowa. A long-time professor at Eastern Iowa Community Colleges, she has also taught extensively at museums, community art centers, colleges and high schools in the Pacific Northwest and Midwest. www.robynlsmith.com

Robyn will be available 30 mins prior to the start of the first class to help students get set up on Zoom
