Location: online via Zoom

End your week with some fun, getting away from your school work and your chores, practicing what you love - your photography! Photograph assignments individually and close to home. We will share our results for instructor and group feedback on Flickr - the best photography share site online - and live in our Zoom sessions. One assignment will have us making sun / shadow prints, to explore the earliest form of photography - cyanotypes. Class culminates as you make your own greeting cards using your work from the class – just in time for the holidays!

Provided materials: (pick up your kit at the Blue Heron before the workshop)

1. greeting card stock + matching envelopes

2. two-sided adhesive applicator

3. cello bags

4. solar printing kit

Materials you need from home:

1. any digital camera, phone to point and shoot or dSLR to mirrorless allowing you to post your results to Flickr

2. styling objects in a holiday theme such as Christmas lights, ornaments, evergreen foliage, holly, ribbons

3.computer for Zooming + posting photographs to Flickr

4.a Flickr account - free and easy to create before the workshop even begins
