This class is for anyone who loves ALL the art supplies! Students will explore their intuitive creativity and work to create mixed media 2D pieces through a variety projects. Projects include acrylic and watercolor paint making to create custom colors; collage with handmade elements; printmaking and altered books; and drawing and painting with layers. This camp is about learning and applying traditional 2D art techniques as a foundation for new and unique work. Materials include watercolor sprays and sticks; acrylic paints and mediums; natural earth pigments; collage materials and found objects; fine line pens; alcohol markers; chalk pastel; and a wide variety of papers and substrates.
