Learn lost wax casting, a technique that has been used to make jewelry for thousands of years. Design and create a wax model, then “invest” it (make a mold of the model). The wax will be “burnt out” in a kiln, creating a cavity to inject with molten silver or bronze. File and sand to bring to a finish and, voila, you have a unique piece of jewelry. No previous experience necessary, return lost wax casting students welcome.
